RADICAL ISLAMIC TERRORISM

With the protests being held today and the unrest in this country on terrorism, I thought I would republish this post.  It is very important to know the different between the Constitution and Sharia Law.
~~<>~~

I am writing on an element of the Muslim population, radical Islamic terrorists. These people are not to be confused with peaceful Muslims. It has been another difficult post to write. I hope that you will find the information helpful, and that after you read this post, you will read a very special story in closing.

This has been a devastating week for Americans.  A radical Islamic terrorist single-handedly murdered 48 innocent Americans and injured as many, with future plans of targeting Disney.  It is the largest massacre on American soil by a domestic terrorist.  On September 11, 2001, foreign radical Islamic terrorist suicide bombers flew planes into four buildings in America.

Since radical Islamic terrorists follow Sharia Law, I will share with your the conflicts between their law and our Bill of Rights. It is imperative that you understand these differences in today's world.

Below are two verses from the Quran, which is the religious text and law of Muslims.

"O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them." - Quran 5:51

"Fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, and save them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem  (of war)." - Quran 9:5

These terrorists attempt to overthrow Muslims that are more moderate in their beliefs, and if these moderates are not firm in Sharia Law, they are the opposition.  These terrorists have been fighting each other more frequently than ever.

There is so much to cover under this title, but I am going to tackle the most important issues concerning the group of people whose only will is to destroy countries and lives.  I will begin by giving definitions which share several important fundamentals of this group of terrorists.

Radical Islamic Terrorism is the act of terrorism against those who do not believe in their system of beliefs, based mainly on their perception of the Quran, perceiving it in a way to fit their agenda.  This group of radical Muslims originated in the Middle East but are radicalizing followers in the United States and other countries.

Jihad is a war waged by radical Muslims to support and spread their religious beliefs.

Sharia Law is the religious legal system followed by those of the faith of Islam. These laws are found in the Quran and perceived by Muslim followers.  These laws are in direct conflict with the laws of peaceful people.

Domestic terrorists are homegrown terrorists, with support from home and abroad.  Referred to as Lone Wolves, they are being urged to kill on their own turf. Below is a list of international radical terrorist groups.

ISIS is a radical Sunni group of Muslims and stands for Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.  They are an extremist militant group that uses extreme means, such as beheading, burning alive, and drowning people to terrorize citizens. The members of this group are governed by the law of Wahhabi/Salafi. They are also known for kidnapping western journalists and workers.

Boko Haram, a large radical Islamic terrorist group that has pledged its allegiance to ISIS as of March 2015. Other radical Muslim terrorist groups, such as Al-Qaeda, a Sunni militant group that targets civilian and military groups. and the Taliban, located in Afghanistan and western Pakistan, are followers of Sharia Law. These groups will not be included in this discussion, but it would benefit each of you to study the different groups and their backgrounds and motives, which include terrorism and oppression.

Sharia law is to be handled or administered by Islamic leaders. Sharia law prescribes an unjust set of laws. One set of laws for Muslims and another set for infidels (Christians and Jews). Sharia law institutes a discriminatory tax, called jizya, on non-Islamic religions and nations. - Jack Kettler

Below is just a sampling of differences we have between Sharia Law and the Bill of Rights:

1. Jihad, or “to war against all non-Muslims to establish the religion” and is the duty of every Muslim and Muslim head of state (the Caliph)," which is in violation of the First Amendment, which states "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

2. A Muslim who leaves Islam (apostasy) must be killed, which is in violation of the Eighth Amendment, which states "Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted."

3. Honor killings for offenses against Islam are permitted,
which is in violation of the First Amendment, which states, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

4. A Muslim will not get the death penalty if he kills a non-Muslim,
which is in violation of the Fifth Amendment, which states, "No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb, nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation."

5. Sharia law does not abolish slavery. In reality it furthers it,
which is in violation of the First Amendment, which states, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

6. Non-Muslims are not equal to Muslims and must comply with Sharia poll tax requirements if they are to remain protected in Islamic societies. Specifically, they are forbidden to marry Muslim women, publicly display wine or pork, even reciting their own religious scriptures, or openly celebrating their religious holidays and funerals. This is in violation of the First Amendment, which states, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

7. Non-Muslims are forbidden from building new churches or building them higher than mosques. A non-Muslim can be killed if he proselytizes a Muslim away from Islam, which is in violation of the First Amendment, which states, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

8. It is a crime to say anything derogatory about Allah and his Prophet, or expose the contradictory points of Islam, which is in violation of the First Amendment, which states, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

9. Defiance on the part of the wife invalidates the husband’s responsibility to support her. It also gives him permission to beat her and keep her from leaving the home, which is in violation of the Eighth Amendment, which states, "Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted."

10. Divorce is only in the hands of the husband and be initiated by simply saying: “I divorce you.”,
which is in violation of the Seventh Amendment, which states, "In Suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury shall be otherwise re-examined in any Court of the United States, then according to the rules of the common law."

11. The testimony of a woman in court is half the value of a man,
which is in violation of the Seventh Amendment, which states, "In Suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury shall be otherwise re-examined in any Court of the United States, then according to the rules of the common law.

12. A woman loses custody of children if she remarries,
which is in violation of the Seventh Amendment, which states, "In Suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury shall be otherwise re-examined in any Court of the United States, then according to the rules of the common law.

13. To prove rape, a woman must have four male witnesses,
which is in violation of the Sixth Amendment, which states, "In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed; which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense."

14. Female circumcision or genitalia mutilation is widespread in Islamic countries, which is in violation of the Eighth Amendment, which states, "Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted."

There is so much facing our leaders and law enforcement in America.  They are dealing with so much, and we need to support them wholeheartedly.  We live in a dangerous world, and it is getting worse daily.  Many cry out that Americans are being racist in relation to the vetting of the refugees; I can't imagine someone hating someone because they are Muslim.  I don't believe this.  I believe that we have so much intelligence that tells us we need to be careful.  The projections show that roughly 10% of the refugees are ISIS terrorist that have infiltrated this group.  There is no way you cannot feel compassion for a group of people that are being persecuted, but we have to be patient and make sure that we are doing what is right for the safety of Americans.

This may bring less privacy, but for me, that is ok.  I had rather be safe through surveillance and more intelligence. The Orlando killer was turned away from six mosques that we know if, and no one reported it.  People are going to have to report criminal activity. We need the help of our Muslim allies more now than ever.

I have seen many years in my lifetime, but I never thought that America would be so vulnerable to such terrorism.  We have to work diligently to bring this country back.

This has become a very long post.  I really hope you read the information. The more we understand, the better America and the world will be.

Please read the story below from an adult's memory of a childhood experience. It will open your eyes.

"I remember my good Muslim friend from Jr. High school. It was during my break from private school for a while. We hung out every day together during recess. We played basketball or just hung out and talked on the bleachers. His dad was here for military training. I remember talking to him about Jesus and he would say he loves Jesus, which I never understood. Now I know he was considered a great prophet to my friend, but certainly not a God. He occasionally would say things to me along the lines of me being his best friend here but that one day at a certain time he and his family will be under certain rules that will make us no longer able to be friends during a time, maybe a short time, or a long time, in fact enemies. I always laughed this off but he said it very straight-faced, and then we would move on to being kids again. This is what we know as Jihad. That's what he was telling me about. I just was too young to understand it. It's still very strange to this day to me. One thing I know, to understand what is happening right now in the world, you have to understand the religion. We are at a very dangerous place in time right now. We know that many moderate Muslims are out there, in fact, most of them are. But just like those who follow the Bible, they are not doing the things that are clearly instructed of them. If Christians began living out the Old Testament laws, WE would be the barbarians of our time. In fact, we wouldn't look much different than those Muslims who are trying to establish a Caliphate. You remember the whole kill all Men, Women, and Children, no mercy parts of the OT, right? Those that are going by their word, they are the ones you are seeing do the things we consider terrible. But, it's right there, in their teachings, plain as day. They are simply following it in great detail."

Don't sugar coat it. Don't be so open minded to everyone and their belief systems that you won't allow yourself to see it. It's real, and it's happening. This isn't fear pushing. It's simply what is in the text, and some are choosing to follow it 100%.

SLIGHTLY SOUTH OF SIMPLE BY KRISTY WOODSON HARVEY

SLIGHTLY SOUTH OF SIMPLE

I have just finished Slightly South of Simple by Kristy Woodson Harvey. As with the other two books Kristy wrote, Dear Carolina and Lies and Other Acts of Love, I fell in love with this book. Kristy is a great Southern author, writing about strong women and their love and support for each other. Family is at the forefront of each book.

This story is about a close family that is located all over the country, gathering simultaneously at their mother's waterfront home. Circumstances occur in each of the three sister's lives that bring them together, creating a storyline that makes this book one of the best I have read.

Sisters Carolyn, Sloane, and Emerson, their children, and their mother, main character Ansley, are so close, working together to resolve the problems that have brought them all together. Hear the highlights below, in Kristy's words.

What happens when they all get to Peachtree Bluff makes for a time filled with love, comfort, and support for each other in a way that is more than heart warming.  These four women are not only towers of strength, they love their family, which is proven in many ways and many times throughout the book.

Kristy, you have written a masterpiece again. I am so proud of you! I can't think of a book that I had rather recommend, and I can't wait for the next one!
